Hi I am Yani!

Hello it's me Yani, a second-year Computer Science student at Ateneo de Manila University. I'm BS CS but also BS org, currently a Developer for CompSAt, a Backend Developer for GDG, and an IT Skills & Development Officer for MISA. Basically, I build websites and do random projects as my coping mechanism for my ass grades.

Right now, I'm working on honing my skills in full-stack web development, mainly with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Node.js. I've built projects like this Chika (an anonymous notes app with public/private notes, reactions, and a blog section), Musicells (a Spotify-powered album browser), and MISAyang Samahan (a Pokémon-themed HR platform for my org). I also made Redhead Redemption, a Java-based LAN multiplayer shooter.

Took CS because it seemed like the best fit, and honestly, it's been pretty solid. Started with Python basics, moved to Java (multithreading, networking, all that), and now I'm just vibe coding, making the most out of Copilot and Cursor. Still trying to survive Data Strucs though. Looking to land an internship or job soon.
